Membership of Indian Medical Association is offered to the graduate of modern medicine who has a minimum qualification of MBBS. For membership, please apply with the membership fees in the prescribed application form along with following documents:

• Medical council registration (4 copies)
• Fully filled up membership from and photograph and its three zerox copies
• Cash/Check of membership fees.

Indian Medical Association (IMA) is an unique organization, bringing together the medical fraternity, with nearly 1.8 lac members all over India, 17000 of them from Gujarat & nearly 2314 at IMA Vadodara. The membership is transferable to any Local branch, in any State / Union Territory of India.

• Scientific Sessions in the form of Lectures, Seminars, Symposia, Panel Discussions, Updates in different disciplines of Medical Science, Conferences, catering to the needs of all. We have guest speakers of National & International repute to feed us with the newest in their field of work.
• Continuing Medical Education Programme, a marathon of about 25 lectures in a span of 2 weeks.

• Sub-chapters of College of General Practitioners (CGP) & IMA Academy of Medical Specialities.

• Various schemes in operation at State & National level, viz. Social Security Scheme ( State & National ), Health Scheme, Professional Protection Scheme.
• DMLT (Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology) Course for Science students.
• A member can avail of the benefits fo IMA Benevolent Fund (Local as well as from the Head Quarters) if she / he has a continuous membership of not less than five years OR has joined the Association within the first two years of her / his becoming eligible * for the membership.
• Information on Curricular, Fiscal & General Matters pertaining to Medical Practice.
• IMA Vadodara Co-Op. Credit Society is a unique activity in which members are given financial help in case of need.
• IMA Vadodara Bio Medical Waste Management Cell manages the waste produced in the clinic, hospitals etc.

• Fill up the form with your sign in the given bracket, paste your photo then make Four (04) zerox of the FORM and attach Four (04) Zerox copy of Registration Number of Medical Council with eah copy of the form.

Requirement for Membership :

• Photocopy of Gujarat Medical Council Registration of M.B.B.S.
• Photocopy of Gujarat Medical Council Registration of Additional Medial Qualifications.
• 1 Passport size photographs
• Marriage certificate (for Couple Membership)
• Duly filled in capital letter & signed membership Form then 3 photocopy of form and attached GMC certificates with each form [1+3=4].
